Full engine rebuilds on both Caterpillar C-12 engines at Port 3365 hours and Starboard 3340 hours. Replaced all 12 cylinder liner kits, replaced cylinder heads, replaced connection rod bearings, removed, cleaned and reinstalled all coolers, aftercoolers replaced with new units, new thermostats, belts and hoses installed. All new fluids - engine oil, generator oil and transmission fluid, coolants and new filters as necessary.
Both generators were fully serviced at approximately 1,700 hours. New oil, new filters, new fluids. Sea water pump serviced with new parts. Rebuild and service work done by Shore Power Solutions.
Additional service performed at this time as follows: serviced both thrusters and controls, two new life rafts installed, GOST system was serviced and parts replaced as necessary, water maker serviced, filters replaced, all exterior joints re-caulked as necessary, horn compressor solenoid replaced, new AC/DC monitor installed, new barrier coat installed and fresh bottom paint with Micron CSC, zincs as necessary, tuned props and clear-speed applied to underwater lights.
February 2023, 1,000-hour service done by C and B Marine, Vero Beach, FL. Removed aftercoolers and heat exchangers, cleaned and pressure tested. Reinstalled with new seals and fresh coolant. Replaced Port and Starboard engine air filters, CCV filters, thermostats and belts. Adjusted all engine valves. Removed generator heat exchanger, cleaned and replaced seals. New coolant, belts, zincs and thermostat. Removed gear coolers on both engines, cleaned, changed zincs, painted. Cleaned aftercoolers and heat exchangers. Replaced generator gaskets and thermostats. Replaced seals, gaskets, valves, belts, Racor filters and regulators as necessary on engines and generators. All new fluids on generators and new transmission hose.
