Main Deck Interior

Entered either from the foredeck or aft deck, the interior portion of the main deck houses the Helm, Salon and Galley.

 

Helm

On the starboard side is the helm, with 360-degree sightlines and controls and instruments within easy reach of a large, elevated seat. Navigation electronics are just forward of the steering wheel and the throttles/gears and joystick are on the starboard side. To port is a companion seat on the same elevation.

Aft Deck

Through sliding, framed glass doors is the aft deck. On the port side is seating beneath the overhang of the hardtop and to starboard is a console containing a grill, refrigeration drawer and storage, which becomes part of the Galley when the aft window is dropped. A bench is aft and can be moved fore and aft to create more room on the aft deck or in the walking area forward of the engines, as well as the option of laying the backrest down to form a tanning area. An enormous bilge area is accessible by raising the deck. The generator and a few other systems are in that space and easy to service.

California Queen Owner's Berth

Down a few stairs from the Helm are the Owner’s Berth, forward, and guest berth(s) aft. The Head is to starboard and features a shower stall.
